Our first Post-Covid show and it was great to be back.

Pete Simpson joined me for the Rare Breeds Day of the Royal three counties on Sunday last at the Malvern showground.
It was a very sociable day and we caught up with many friends from all breeds,
so good to be back with no restrictions and lots of sheep.
Our two-shear ram, Shadow Zavier-above, did himself proud. He won his class, got the breed champion and was highly praised by the judge in the inter-breed.
He just missed out owing to be a little overweight, can't imagine how that happened.
Unfortunately he spent most of the day with his back to the public in his pen, there will be many people looking puzzled when they look at their phone pictures.
Pete won the ewe lamb and group of 3, so everyone was happy.

We took an edited version of our display, just the rugs and some coloured fleeces. Still got a lot of attention, the weight of the shearling fleece astounded everyone, even breeders of other longwoool breeds.
